Giới thiệu

Bác sĩ Huỳnh Đình Chiến là một giảng viên y khoa tận tâm, luôn đề cao các hoạt động chăm sóc y tế cho người nghèo, đặc biệt là đồng bào dân tộc thiểu số ở miền Trung. Sau khi nhận bằng Tiến sĩ Miễn dịch học tại Hungary năm 1989, ông bắt tay vào nghiên cứu về miễn dịch học và xóa đói giảm nghèo, đặc biệt là ở vùng đồng bào dân tộc thiểu số. Trọng tâm nghiên cứu hiện tại của ông là xây dựng các khu vực thử nghiệm lâm sàng cho các loại thuốc chống sốt rét. Bác sĩ Chiến đã biên soạn và xuất bản 15 cuốn sách (3 cuốn bằng tiếng Anh), đăng hơn 40 bài báo khoa học trên các tạp chí quốc tế, tham gia thuyết trình tại 13 hội thảo quốc tế và nhiều hội thảo, tọa đàm trong nước. Ông được phong học hàm Phó Giáo sư năm 2002 và Giáo sư năm 2009. Bác sĩ Chiến được mời làm cố vấn cho nhiều dự án quốc tế tại các tổ chức phi chính phủ cũng như Bộ Y tế. Ông gia nhập Hệ thống Y tế Vinmec từ năm 2017 và làm việc tại VinUni từ năm 2019.
