At VinUniversity, we believe strongly that to address the questions and problems of today and the future, and to create meaningful impact, research will need to be inter-disciplinary and collaborative. This is why VinUni is funding and establishing Research centers that will be the hub of research activity, and will involve researchers and stakeholders from various academic disciplines, industry and community.

The VinUni-Illinois Smart Health Center (VISHC) is an initiative of VinUniversity and the Grainger College of Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The center was established in 2021 to conduct high-impact research on biomedical sensing, informatics, and their applications in smart healthcare. It aims at developing state-of-the-art digital technologies to provide widely accessible health monitoring, screening, and diagnostics for people all over the world.

Established in 2022 with generous support from the VinUniversity Innovation Fund, the Agile Innovation Center (AIC) is dedicated to planning and executing projects with a strong emphasis on community, humanity, and student welfare.

Entrepreneurship Lab is a crucial part of the entrepreneurship ecosystem at VinUni.
