Read MorePhi Thi Linh Giang, Director of VinUniversity Startup Center stated that as soon as their first year joining the university, students would be given the entrepreneurial mindset. Students with start-up ideas will be supported by the center's dedicated mentors on a weekly basis to develop their ideas. When the idea is fully executable, students will receive a funding of $2,000 per project for their incubation test phase. Highly potential projects will be selected for the Acceleration round with further support and funding up to 10,000 USD per team.
At the Teaching and Learning Summit 2022, Prof. Robert Kamei, National University of Singapore (NUS) mentioned the 4 misconceptions in the teaching and learning of lecturers and students at universities.
Myth #1: "I learn to walk and speak naturally, so I don't need to learn about learning".
Myth #2: "A great lecture is the best way to learn. Great teachers make learning easy"
Myth #3: "The more time I spend studying a subject, the more I will learn and the better grades I will get".
Myth #4: Knowing something is the same as knowing how to practice it
