To prepare for Academic Year 2023 – 2024, VinUnian Cohort 4 has participated in a lot of activities to get to know VinUni’s facility, lecturers, faculties and peers. Let’s take a look at pictures from each event down below!
MOVE IN DORM DAY
On September 23 & 24, 2023, our freshmen of Cohort 4 packed their suitcases and joined the Move in Dorm day here at VinUni and got ready for their new home before a new academic year. During this weekend, all students from four Colleges – College of Health Sciences, College of Engineering & Computer Science, College of Business and Management, and College of Sciences & Liberal Arts – together with their family came to receive their new room at the Dorm. At VinUni, 100% of students are required to live in the Dorm in their first year. This is a special feature at the school to help new students get to know each other, make new friends and gain unforgettable memories in university.
In the morning of September 25th, all VinUnians Cohort 4 attended the Orientation Session at VinUni Auditorium. The students had the opportunity to listen to inspiring speeches from Dr. Le Mai Lan – President of the University Council, Prof. David Bangsberg – Interim Provost & Dean of College of Health Sciences, and Prof. K David Harrison – Vice Provost of Academic Affairs. Our freshmen also participated in interactive discussions with lecturers from all four Colleges.
In the afternoon, lots of exciting teambuilding activities were organized to help the students get to know each other and break the ice. Although it was a competition, everyone sure had a great time and enjoyed themselves!
Another highlight of this week is Club Fair Day! With over 30 clubs in multiple areas, information booths were set up, sensational performances were delivered, and VinUnians Cohort 4 got the chance to find a place where they belong!
