Strategic Collaborators and Partners

In order to create a university that will become the best in Vietnam and stand as a symbol of Vietnam’s emerging leadership, aspirations, and ambition for innovation and economic growth, in 2017, from the early dawn of VinUniversity (VinUni), the University’s leaders built relationships with two of the world’s best higher education institutions: Cornell University (for and on behalf of its Cornell SC Johnson College of Business) and the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) — a choice that speaks to our commitment to excellence, innovation in research and teaching, and to making a difference in the world.
At our inception, these valuable relationships helped us to develop a blueprint for success by establishing our outstanding founding faculty and leadership teams, validating and assuring the quality of our original curricula, and guiding the University toward a path of international accreditation, and offered VinUni’s earliest and brightest students opportunities to intern and study with our partners in Vietnam and abroad.
While these collaborations laid the groundwork for VinUni’s initial leadership, curricula, and accreditation, VinUni established itself as, and remains, its own independent legal entity.
