VinUniversity’s Medical Simulation Center Provides Advanced Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training to over 600 Medical Staff

With the hope of improving quality and standardizing CPR techniques, VinUniversity’s Medical Simulation Center (SIM Center) has organized the ACLS course for medical staff in Vietnam.

As of March 2022, the SIM Center has successfully trained 670 students, who are medical staff from Vinmec International Hospital, 108 Military Central Hospital, 175 Military Hospital, and Saint Paul General Hospital, etc.

The course provides comprehensive knowledge on circulatory emergencies, including identification and treatment of circulatory arrest, care after cardiac arrest, arrhythmia emergencies, strokes, acute coronary syndrome, etc.

Combining the American Heart Association’s official teaching methods and curriculum with advanced simulations and real medical equipment, the course aims to provide students with learning experiences that are practical and effective in practice as well as in real-life situations.
