Editors and TV Program Hosts of Vietnam Television (VTV) Take the 2022 First Aid Training Course at VinUniversity

Following up the series of events to build a knowledgeable and safe community, VinUniversity Simulation Center organized a First Aid training course for Editors and TV Program hosts of Vietnam Television (VTV), such as Diem Quynh, Ninh Quang Truong, Bao An, Tuyet Ngan, Duy Duong… These are public figures who contributed to the value creation and establishment of many VTV news and entertainment programs, especially health programs and children’s programs such as Healthy Everyday, Happy – Healthy – Helpful, The Rainbow Class, For Children…

With the lecturers’ instructions and the support of state-of-the-art practice models, trainees from VTV were equipped with the essential knowledge and skills to tackle emergencies and urgent life-threatening situations such as cardiac arrest, foreign body airway obstruction, allergies … or common trauma cases in daily life such as broken bones, providing hemostatic dressing…

Looking back at the course, each student got many practical take-aways to protect themselves, their families, and everyone in their community. Ms. Diem Quynh – Head of VTV6 Youth Department and Director of Vietnam Television Film Center said: “The course has truly provided the most critical knowledge and skills for everyone to ensure safety for ourselves and for the whole community. Especially in the past 2 years, the need for survival skills has become much more real since the Covid-19 pandemic has overloaded the healthcare system, making it difficult for people to access healthcare and medical resources”.
