For Nhat Anh, recipient of the scholarship from the College of Business Management VinUni, cooking is not just a passion; it is a driving force that nurtures a big dream. He wants to spread the flavors and dishes of Asia, particularly Vietnam, to international friends. He also harbors the ambition to run a restaurant and hotel business that utilizes “farm to table” ingredients.

The desire to inspire through cuisine

Since middle school, Nhat Anh has nurtured a love for food, demonstrating a special talent for tasting. Like many students, he faced a “career crisis” until he found inspiration in the movie Chef. That was when he resolved to pursue his passion wholeheartedly.

As the creator of recipes on Cookpad and the fan page “Nhat Anh Food,” Nhật Anh humbly describes himself as an ordinary person with a passion for cooking, eager to inspire others with his love for the kitchen. Nhật Anh shares that preparing meals for those he loves has always been a source of happiness for him. He hopes that every dish he makes will convey a sense of sophistication in both color and flavor to those who enjoy it. With a deep passion for cuisine, Nhật Anh is constantly exploring and innovating to harmonize the flavors of the East and the subtlety of Western cuisine. Through this, he aims not only to create new and unique dishes but also to preserve and promote the traditional values of Vietnamese cuisine.

Committed to his choices

Not stopping there, Nhat Anh is determined to pursue a professional path in this field. He once considered studying abroad in countries known for their culinary excellence and career potential. However, after discovering VinUni and its Hospital Lab (H-Lab) – a practice complex for Hospitality students at VinUni—he fell in love with the place. Nhat Anh believes that the multicultural environment at VinUni will broaden his horizons and facilitate his holistic development, enabling him to become the best version of himself.

By choosing the College of Business & Management VinUni to fulfill his childhood passion, Nhat Anh also entrusts a big dream to this journey. He aspires to one day operate a restaurant and hotel business, focusing on the “farm to table” concept. All ingredients will be sourced using methods that do not rely on chemicals to preserve the ecosystem. He believes this approach can help protect the environment and respect natural ecosystems.

In the future, Nhat Anh hopes to travel around the world to learn and introduce unique, simple recipes to everyone. For him, cooking is not just a passion or a job; it is a mission to constantly create delicious dishes. Exploring the world is an opportunity for him to gain experience and discover ways to elevate the culinary heritage of Viet Nam for international friends
