Giới thiệu
Bác sĩ Nguyễn Thanh Tuấn là một nhà dịch tễ học y khoa tận tâm với gần 30 năm kinh nghiệm trong lĩnh vực sức khỏe quốc tế, đem đến những tác động tích cực cho cộng đồng trên toàn thế giới.
Nghiên cứu của ông tập trung vào các lĩnh vực sức khỏe cho mẹ và bé, bệnh truyền nhiễm và không lây nhiễm, sự khác biệt về sức khỏe, chính sách dinh dưỡng, tăng cường hệ thống y tế, hệ thống thực phẩm, kinh tế y tế và biến đổi khí hậu. Được đào tạo chuyên sâu bởi các tổ chức danh tiếng như Đại học North Carolina cơ sở Chapel Hill, Đại học Johns Hopkins và Trường Cao đẳng Y khoa Baylor, Bác sĩ Tuấn đã cống hiến, hỗ trợ kỹ thuật và thực hiện nghiên cứu trên 35 quốc gia.
Ông là đồng tác giả của hơn 90 ấn phẩm được bình duyệt, cùng với nhiều hướng dẫn, báo cáo và bài báo. Ông cũng từng đảm nhiện vị trí biên tập viên và phản biện cho nhiều tạp chí uy tín, cũng như làm giảng viên thỉnh giảng tại các trường đại học danh tiếng, bao gồm Đại học Nam California.
Bác sĩ Nguyễn Thanh Tuấn đã góp phần phát triển các thiết bị kỹ thuật số toàn cầu mang tính đổi phá, như: Công cụ Sữa Mẹ (Mothers’ Milk Tool), Công cụ Nuôi dưỡng Xanh (Green Feeding Tool), và Công cụ Tính toán Chi phí Ngân hàng Sữa Mẹ (Human Milk Bank Costing Tool). Trước đó, ông từng là cố vấn kỹ thuật tại FHI 360, giảng viên thỉnh giảng tại Trường Đại học VinUni, và giảng viên tại Đại học Y Hà Nội.

Bác sĩ Nguyễn Thanh Tuấn đã đóng góp vào 91 bài báo được bình duyệt, hơn 20 chương sách và báo cáo, các công cụ đổi mới toàn cầu, và hơn 65 bài thuyết trình tại các diễn đàn quốc tế và quốc gia. Ông cũng là tác giả của hơn 70 bài báo (bằng tiếng Việt) nhằm thúc đẩy sức khỏe bà mẹ và trẻ em cùng lối sống lành mạnh hơn.

- Mothers’ Milk Tool -Valuing breastfeeding through the Mothers’ Milk Tool. Tuan Nguyen is a part of the development team from Australian National University and Alive & Thrive.
- Green Feeding Tool – Innovating to Improve Nutrition can help meet Climate Targets. Tuan Nguyen is a part of the development team from Australian National University and Alive & Thrive.
- Human Milk Bank Costing Tool – The first tool is the costing tool, which helps provide cost estimates using both default and user-selected cost components.
- Human milk bank monitoring system. Tuan Nguyen designed the system. Data are used for to improve program performance, decision making, and publications. The information about the monitoring component has been used for National Guidelines for Vietnam and Southeast Asian Standards.
