Vingroup Continues Its Commitment with 80 Billion VND in Scholarships for Master’s and PhD Studies Abroad in 2025

On July 8, 2025, the Vingroup Science and Technology Scholarship Program, managed and implemented by VinUniversity, held its 2025 Scholarship Award Ceremony. The event honored 34 outstanding young Vietnamese talents who will pursue Master’s and PhD degrees at top global universities, with total scholarships valued at 80 billion VND (approximately 3.1 million USD).

These remarkable individuals are expected to become future leaders and make significant contributions to Vietnam’s science and technology (S&T) sector.

This year, among the 34 scholars awarded, 18 will pursue Master’s degrees and 16 will pursue PhDs at world-renowned institutions such as Harvard University, Cornell University, University of Pennsylvania, University of California, Berkeley, Duke University, University of Sydney, University of Technology Sydney, and Singapore Management University.

The 2025 Scholarship Ceremony marks the 7th year of the program’s operation, reaffirming Vingroup’s long-term commitment to nurturing and empowering the nation’s talents. The overarching goal is to cultivate a new generation of elite science and technology intellectuals who are prepared to lead Vietnam in the era of global innovation.

To date, Vingroup has awarded more than 250 graduate-level scholarships to young Vietnamese talents. Many of them have returned to contribute significantly in academia, research institutions, and businesses in Vietnam.
