VinUniversity Leadership Team led by our Senior Deputy President, Prof. Ling San, has recently concluded an academic partnership and recruitment mission across Europe, formalizing agreements with world-class institutions and connecting with over 120 scholars in Spain, Belgium, and France. The visit continues to affirm VinUni’s commitment to building a globally integrated academic community and strengthening its academic ties with leading partners in the area.
Paris marked the most intensive stop of the journey, with meetings and discussion on research and education collaboration strategies with France’s most prestigious universities: Sorbonne Université , Université PSL, and Université Paris-Saclay. On this occasion, VinUni also signed the MOU and specific academic agreements with these partners. Each partnership is grounded in collaborations that have been developing over time, now formalized into frameworks that will support faculty mobility, dual PhD degrees, joint research, and student exchange. In Belgium, VinUni and Universiteit Gent also sealed an MOU, marking our official institutional partnership built on years of faculty-to-faculty research collaboration.
The business trip to Europe is a key milestone in VinUni’s global engagement efforts to connect outstanding academic minds through its VinUni 500 tracks, in support of Vision 2030. The partnerships forged across Barcelona, Ghent, and Paris expand VinUni’s European academic network and open new pathways for collaboration in research, education, and innovation.
VinUni extends sincere appreciation to Sorbonne Université, PSL University, Université Paris-Saclay, Ghent University and all partner institutions and scholars who made time for meaningful discussions throughout the trip.
Together, we are building the foundation for Vietnam’s next generation of global academic excellence.
