GLOBAL RESEARCH INTERNSHIP AND INTERNSHIP SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AT VINUNI

VinUni offers a special research opportunity for outstanding students with a strong passion for research from partner universities around the world. Going beyond the framework of a conventional exchange program, the Research Internship Program at VinUni is designed to enable students to directly engage in high-potential research projects on the VinUni campus. Through the program, interns not only broaden their academic experience but also immerse themselves in in-depth research, working closely under the guidance of leading scientists and faculty members. This experience serves as an important starting point for students to develop a research mindset and chart a pathway toward becoming future researchers, while building lasting academic connections within VinUni’s dynamic and interdisciplinary research community.
Through the program, students gain access to exclusive opportunities, including:
– Participation in one of 30+ interdisciplinary research projects spanning a wide range of areas from AI, Healthcare, to Sustainability, and more.
– Direct collaboration with top professors and leading experts at VinUni and from around the world.
– Eligibility for the Inbound Global Exchange Student Ambassador (I-GESA) Scholarship worth up to 40,000,000 VND (~USD 1,570) for students from partner universities.
– First-hand experience in a dynamic and diverse academic–research environment in Vietnam.
Notably, the program has attracted international students from some of the world’s top universities. A highlight is the participation of students from Cornell University during Summer 2025, who researched computational models aimed at minimizing environmental impact by optimizing resource usage and reducing carbon emissions.
