The Aspiration to Bring People Closer Via Technology

With The Second Place in the National Computer Science Olympiad and an impressive GPA of 9.7/10, Vu Duy Tung, a student of Luong The Vinh High School for The Gifted and now winner of the 90% Scholarship for Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science at College of Engineering and Computer Science, VinUniversity opened up about this ambitious goal: “I want to utilize my knowledge of technology to come up with a better solution to connect people than the usual social network due to its limitation on expression of emiotions”.

Duy Tung was recognized for his exceptional mindset of computer science and programming by the faculty interviewers. On the other hand, he expressed significant concern for the current society full of modern and smart connections yet losing sincere emotions on the human side. Tung has never ceased down on his aspiration to research on Machine Learning as well as accumulate knowledge on background subjects to learn about how to listen and share more with other people around. He personally believes that the future needs better technology solutions for humans to avoid drifting apart due to social networking.

As an environment advocate, Tung wants to utilize technologies to mitigate the pollution nowadays. He and his friends has come up with the idea and currently at the finishing phase of developing the planting coverage app called BIOVE. Every time a donation is made, a tree will be planted. BIOVE App is expected to go live in the next April and start playing its role in protecting our environment.
