Deputy President and Provost of National University of Singapore to discuss Multidisciplinary Education and Research at VinUni

On January 25th, VinUni will host a special event during the visit of a high-ranking delegation from the National University of Singapore (NUS), which is ranked 8th globally according to QS 2024 rankings.
Professor Aaron Thean, Deputy President and Provost of the NUS will deliver a public lecture at VinUni on “Leveraging our Diversity for Multidisciplinary Education and Research.”
Upcoming event, Prof. Thean will share with the audience invaluable experience and insights on:
- Championing multidisciplinary education and research at NUS and provide insights and examples on how NUS has leveraged their diversity for multidisciplinary education and research
- Developing Future Ready Graduates and a Lifelong Education Model, along with Interdisciplinary Research Initiatives encompassing health innovation, smart nation, urban solutions, and material research

About speaker: Prof. Aaron Thean, a renowned scientist and innovator in microelectronics, has been honored with several awards for his outstanding research contributions. In 2016, he became part of the National University of Singapore (NUS) through the esteemed Returning Singapore Scientists program.
As the Deputy President (Academic Affairs) and Provost of NUS since 2023, Prof. Thean dedicates his leadership role to advance teaching and learning methodologies.
