Vinunians shined as champions in the HSBC Business Case Competition 2024
Four VinUnians, including Huynh Hai Ngan, Duong Bao Tien, Nguyen Phuong Hoa, and Le Phuong Ngan from the College of Business Management, have excellently clinched the championship in the HSBC Business Case Competition 2024. The competition, co-organized by HSBC Vietnam and VietSeeds Scholarship Fund, officially advanced to the national finals after four months of intense competition.
In the final round, four competing teams from VinUniversity, RMIT University Ho Chi Minh City, Foreign Trade University Hanoi, and Foreign Trade University Ho Chi Minh City were tasked with solving a real business scenario developed by the Asia Research Center at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). Teams had three hours to analyze and propose solutions, implementation plans, and strategic approaches before proceeding to the presentation and rebuttal session with the judges.
VinUni made its debut in the competition and remarkably surpassed 43 talented teams nationwide to claim the ultimate victory. Alongside the cash prize, ANT (the team’s name) from VinUni officially represents Vietnam to compete against 24 teams from leading universities in the Asia-Pacific region in Hong Kong in May.
In addition to the outstanding abilities and relentless efforts of the team, along with the invaluable guidance from HSBC and Vietseeds, Team ANT received support from VinUni faculty throughout the preparation for the Regional Round, Qualifying Round, and National Champion: Professors Lee Sang Hoon, Trinh Viet Dung, Dr. Ho Hong Hai, Professor Marc Kramer, and Ms. Nguyen Van Anh.
Congratulations to the VinUnians, and best wishes for good health and preparation for the upcoming competition in Hong Kong!
