Hanoi, April 20, 2026 – VinUniversity has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with SK South East Asia Investment PTE. LTD., marking a significant milestone in strengthening industry–academia collaboration for sustainable energy innovation. The agreement initiates a strategic research partnership led by VinUni’s Center for Environmental Intelligence (CEI), with an initial funding commitment of USD 300,000.

The collaboration aims to develop advanced artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for energy systems and electric mobility infrastructure, addressing some of the most pressing challenges in the global transition toward sustainable and intelligent energy networks.

With this collaboration, the research is expected to deliver a range of impactful outcomes, including advanced AI models and optimization algorithms, digital twin platforms for energy management and EV charging systems, scientific publications, and potential patents and technology prototypes.
