Biography

Dr. Nguyen, Thi Tuyet earned her MD degree in Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine and was working as resident in General Internal Medicine in 115 People Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.
After achieving Ph.D degree in Medical Science in Yonsei University, Wonju College of Medicine, she came back to work in Tan Tao University, School of Medicine as Faculty cum Head of Training Department.
In 2020, she was appointed to Associate Program Director in Internal Residency Program and Assistant Clinical Professor in VinUniversity. In 2022, Dr. Nguyen was appointed as Co-Program Director of Internal Medicine Residency Program. With co-program director at Penn, she has the operational responsibility for the Internal Medicine program.
Dr. Nguyen won several awards including the Innovation of MD curriculum at Tan Tao University, Faculty of the Year, and Outstanding Contribution Faculty awards in VinUniversity.
In DIO position of College of Health Sciences, Dr. Nguyen will serve as academic leader responsible for the oversight of all residency and fellowship programs within College of Health Sciences. This role ensures that GME activities are conducted in compliance with Institutional, Common, and Program Requirements and that residents are trained in a safe, supportive, and competency-based environment.
