Biography
From 2019 – 2023, Thanh applied her experience in finance, accounting, taxes, and government policies to professionalize the Human Resources department, and fulfill staffing needs as the HR Business Partner at NPX Point Avenue, a Hanoi-based education technology company that opened in 2018.
Through the company’s rapid growth to 5 after-school education centers (Hanoi, HCMC, Bangkok), 2 private-bilingual schools in Hanoi, and a technology branch in Korea, Thanh has been instrumental in recruiting and retaining local back-office talent, as well as international team members such as, heads of department, teachers, university counselors, and more. Thanh has guided 50+ foreigners and their families through the complex legal process of securing work permits and residency in Vietnam. She also supported hundreds of team members to gain access to (and competently understand) their compensation and benefits packages. Additionally, Thanh served as the liaison between accounting, finance, the board of managers, and the employees to advise on, implement, and explain personal income reports, utilization tracking, immigration policies, internal regulations, employee benefits, and more.
