Dr. Michele Upvall is Vice-Dean of Nursing in the College of Health Sciences. As a leader in global health, Dr. Upvall defined the role of global health nursing and the critical importance of capacity building and sustainability to promote health care across the globe. She has developed innovative nursing programs for American Indians, men and women in Pakistan, and nurses across eastern and southern Africa.
