Biography
Dr. Huyen is a pioneer in pediatric palliative care (PPC) in Vietnam. Graduating her master’s degree in palliative care at King’s College London, UK, Dr. Huyen leads the development of PPC in Vietnam by establishing the first PPC department at a tertiary pediatric hospital and teaching graduate and post-graduate medical students. Dr. Huyen has more than ten years of working in pediatric hospitals and six years of teaching at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City. She also got involved in program development, international relations, and hospital management. Joining VinUni as an Associate Program Director, Dr. Huyen would like to contribute to the progression of building a prestigious pediatrics residency program in alignment with the vision of VinUni being a world-leading university.
