Based on the publication of U.S News & World Report in Best Graduate Schools 2019, The Perelman School of Medicine at University of Pennsylvania (Perelman) is ranked 3rd in the top Best Medical Schools in the U.S, especially in Research. Moreover, Penn also is globally ranked in top 10 Best Medical Schools in 22 consecutive years, especially in Primary Care.

The University of Pennsylvania was home to the first medical school and first school hospital in the country. Today, the School of Medicine is affiliated with the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, and Pennsylvania Hospital, which forms an intergrated Medical system owning many valuable patents, improving the medical training, biomedical research and patient care.
