Co-curricular Program

OASIS: First Year Experience course (FYE) or OASIS@VinUni is designed to enable students to efficiently adapt to the learning environment of the university by supporting their academic growth with effective guidance and useful resources. OASIS adopts an integrated approach to empower students with the requisite generic skills and understanding for their successful academic study and non-academic engagement, such as the formation of their personal goals and career planning.

Healthy Lifestyle: In this course, students acquire foundational knowledge and the essential skills that will enable them to develop an informed approach to attaining a physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually healthy lifestyle.

Global Experience: This course aims to cultivate students’ international perspective and position their professional knowledge and civic engagement in the global setting. It exposes students to other cultures, pedagogies, histories, societies, and lifestyles.  It will challenge their comfort zones while sharpening their problem-solving skills .  It will also facilitate the enhancement of their inter-cultural competency by cultivating their understanding of cultural diversity and effective communicative skills with peoples of diverse backgrounds.  Students will be equipped not only with a strong sense of being global citizens but also an acute awareness of the importance of becoming professional leaders in the international arena.

Community Service Learning: This is a unique experiential learning component that integrates academic study with meaningful community service.  Students will go outside the classrooms and serve the community by applying their professional knowledge to various projects in the service of different stakeholders.
