VINUNI 2024 CAREER DAY
With the mission “Educating talents for the future”, VinUni aims to pioneer in creating valuable opportunities to prepare our students with essential skills and abilities, besides academic knowledge, before they enter the workforce. 2024 Career Day follows two successful events in 2023 and 2022 and is even more special with the first cohort of students graduating in the summer. The main purpose is to connect Industry Partners with VinUni talented and dynamic final-year students and promote deeper collaboration between Industry and Academia.
Aiming to make a breakthrough in educating future generations of leaders, VinUni established stragetic partnership with Cornell University & University of Pennsylvania. VinUni professors and faculty come from top universities globally, some of whom are top 2% of most cited scientists. Therefore, VinUni has attracted students who are top 5% of gifted and leading high schools in Vietnam and internationally with:
– Average high school GPA of 9.1;
– IELTS average band of 7.3;
– SAT average score of 1445+ (top 5% worldwide 2023);
– Some with top 1% SAT scores worldwide.
Besides outstanding academic performance, VinUni students actively participate in the professional world from the early years of their university life through various activities such as student clubs, Work-Study Programs, company visits, in-semester internships, summer internships, business case competitions, and research projects.

MEET OUR STUDENTS
- MENTORSHIP PROGRAM: Students are paired with seasoned industry mentors whom they aspire to learn from and establish professional networks with. Both mentors and mentees have the opportunity to share personal contact details for ongoing communication, allowing mentees to seek valuable career guidance from their mentors.
- INDUSTRY-ACADEMIC COLLABORATION MEETING: Distinguished representatives from VinUni and Corporations will discuss collaboration topics, spanning but not limited to student talents, executive education, academic programs, research initiatives, and consulting engagements.
- INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS INTERVIEWS: Students will be afforded the opportunity to engage in one-on-one interviews with representatives from esteemed companies. Prior to these interviews, students will receive dedicated support and guidance from VinUni faculty and staff to optimize their outcomes.
- STUDENTS PROFFESSIONAL PHOTOSHOOT: Take professional photos for your internship and job applications to impress employers and cultivate lasting relationships. Students need to dress professionally for the photoshoot.
- LUCKY DRAW: Students get stickers per booth visit. The top ten with the most stickers returning to the Information counter win Corporates’ vouchers & limited Merch!

Check in at VinUni’s Center Square for setting up booths & welcoming other guests.
An inspirational sharing by VinUni leaders about talent development and the importance of academic-industry relationship in the future real & practical education and welcome participating organizations.
Students can visit Corporates’ booth to gain insightful information and even conduct direct interviews, providing valuable networking opportunities and potential career connections.
Students engage in direct interactions with Corporates Representatives to explore job opportunities and potentially secure employment through interviews conducted on-site.
Students have the opportunity to participate in a professional photoshoot to obtain high-quality images suitable for their CVs and professional profiles.
Students need to register to match with seasoned industry mentors whom they aspire to learn from and establish professional networks with.
