VinUni and ASEAN Students Visiting Lumi Smart Factory in the NTU ASEAN Summer Program
This past week in July, VinUni and ASEAN students from 12 different countries had the opportunity to visit Lumi Smart Factory as part of the NTU ASEAN Summer Program to learn about how Vietnamese industries approach advanced technology and transitioning to sustainable IoT solutions.
These exceptional students, nominated and selected from institutions such as the University of Melbourne (Australia), Nanyang Technological University (NTU – Singapore), Royal University of Phnom Penh (Cambodia), and Chulalongkorn University (Thailand), participated in a 2-week program hosted by VinUni.
“To provide international students with an effective and impressive exchange experience, along with practical insights into the IoT sector in Vietnam, we decided to offer them the opportunity to observe a leading IoT/Smart Home manufacturing facility. The Lumi Smart Factory Tour is our top priority,” a representative from VinUniversity stated.
During their visit to Lumi Smart Factory, students explored modern SMT and DIP production lines equipped with specialized machinery, witnessing firsthand the manufacturing, assembly, testing, and completion processes of IoT/Smart Home products. Furthermore, they had the opportunity to experience the latest IoT/Smart Home products from Lumi and the fully designed smart home solutions and Lumi smart lighting.
The Lumi Smart Factory tour program will continue throughout 2024. Technology training institutions, architecture and interior design centers, as well as esteemed partners, are encouraged to register for the Factory Tour to experience and discover the manufacturing processes at Lumi Vietnam’s 6,000 m² IoT/Smart Home production facility!
