The College of Engineering & Computer Science successfully held CECS Day 2024 with the theme: “Uniting minds, Igniting futures”
On June 8th, the VinUniversity Sports Complex buzzed with innovation, inspiration, and connection as CECS Day 2024 showcased the innovative research, projects, and expertise of our faculty and students, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and curiosity.
Throughout the event, attendees engaged with diverse project demos such as a Drone for Remote Sensing Applications, Water Monitoring Systems, and Cybersecurity projects.
Project posters displayed impressive interdisciplinary research from the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP), VinUni-Illinois Smart Health Center (VISHC), Center for Environmental Intelligence (CEI), and various graduate projects.
For the first time, Capstone projects by CECS senior students were showcased, addressing critical challenges through actual design, experimentation, and implementation.
The afternoon was filled with energetic sports activities. The football match was a thrilling spectacle, and the Sports Complex buzzed with badminton, table tennis, and chess competitions. These activities not only encourage students to stay physically fit but also enhance the sense of community among VinUnians.
The event concluded in a cheerful and open atmosphere, true to the spirit of “Uniting minds, Igniting futures” of CECS Day 2024.
