1. Dorm

The residence at VinUni consists of two main buildings, JA and JB, which are interconnected by the main hall JC. Each building houses 31 apartments, available in two types:

8-Bed Apartments (~48 m²): These are designated for undergraduate students and are divided into configurations of 3/3/2 bedrooms.
2-Bed Apartments (~21 m²): These are reserved for study-away students, graduate students, and internal doctors.

Female students are accommodated in the JA building, while male students reside in the JB building. This arrangement ensures that students share rooms with peers from different colleges and majors, promoting a residential experience rich in inclusivity and diversity.

2. Pantry

Each floor of the JA and JB residence buildings at VinUni features a well-equipped pantry area. These communal spaces are furnished with sofas, tables, and chairs, creating a comfortable environment for students to gather, socialize, and enjoy leisure time together. Additionally, each pantry is outfitted with a microwave and a cupboard, enabling students to prepare meals and dine with friends, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among residents.

3. Student kitchen

Located on the second floor of the main hall JC, the student kitchen is a well-equipped culinary space. It features an electric stove, oven, and microwave, allowing students to prepare and cook their meals. However, students are required to bring their own kitchenware and food, as these are not provided. The kitchen is accessible to all students 24/7. To maintain a clean and safe environment, students are reminded to clean up after themselves and ensure all windows are closed after using the kitchen.

4. Reading room

At VinUni, there are cozy and intimate reading rooms located on Level 1, specifically in rooms JA102, JB110, and JB111. These spaces are ideal for residents seeking a quiet environment for independent learning and reading. Additionally, they can be booked for meetings or events. It is important to note that these reading rooms are not designated for discussions or debates. To respect others using the space, please keep conversations at a low volume.

5. Laundry room

The laundry room at VinUni is conveniently located on level 1, in room JB101, and is operated by an external service provider. Equipped with washers and dryers, the facility is exclusively available to residents at a nominal cost. Should any issues arise concerning the operation of the laundry equipment, residents are advised to report them to the Residential Offices or directly to the laundry service provider. In urgent situations, students are encouraged to call the maintenance or security hotlines for immediate assistance.

6. Social hubs JA-JB

At VinUni, staying connected with fellow residents in the dormitories is made easy through various communal areas. These spaces are designed for residents to spend quality time together, engage in conversations, and build bonds in their daily lives. The social hubs in JA and JB, located on level 1, are equipped with table sports games, providing students with a fun and relaxing way to enjoy their breaks with friends.

7. Parking area

The dormitory at VinUni features a parking lot that is available to residents, students, and guests. Parking is free of charge during the day. However, off-campus students and guests who wish to park overnight without prior notice will be subject to a parking fee. This policy ensures fair and efficient use of the parking facilities for all members of the VinUni community.
