There have been fewer than 50 POMS Fellows in its 32-year history and Provost Rohit Verma was the only member selected in 2023. The current recipients of POMS fellow awards include professors from well-renowned universities such as MIT, Harvard, INSEAD, Cornell, Georgia Tech, Michigan, University of Texas Austin, University of California Berkeley, and London Business School.
Other than Provost Rohit Verma, none of the existing POMS fellows have full-time academic affiliations with universities located in the Asia – Pacific region. The award was announced during the annual meeting of POMS in Orlando (Florida), USA which was attended by over 1700 professors from around the world.
Professor Rohit Verma is the only member to be awarded the title of POMS Fellow in this year
