Biography

Tada Le’s passion for television began in his childhood, culminating in his participation in Vietnam’s first-ever MC competition, where he became the youngest finalist at just 17 years old. This early achievement propelled him into the media industry, where he first worked as a journalist before transitioning to major projects with BBC Media Action. Over five years, he contributed to a project aimed at raising awareness about HIV and AIDS among young people, working across 15 provinces in Vietnam and collaborating with media agencies and broadcasting stations to produce Public Service Announcements (PSA), music videos, documentaries, and radio talk shows.

Following his work with BBC, Tada took on the role of Art Director at Cốc Cốc, shaping the brand’s creative vision. He then expanded his career by producing and hosting various programs for VTC and VTV, gaining recognition for his storytelling and media expertise. His journey continued with VTV7, where he played a key role in branding Vietnam’s first educational TV channel, further strengthening his impact on educational media.

Simultaneously, he became involved in more education-driven projects, including QIPEDC (Quality Improvement of Primary Education for Deaf Children Project), working to enhance learning opportunities for deaf children in Vietnam through Vietnamese Sign Language (VSL). His career later intersected with IELTS Face-Off, introduced as the first edutaining show in Vietnam, has inspired generations of learners across the country and remains the hottest English talk show for young audiences. Tada played a key role in shaping its content and branding, making it a cornerstone of English learning media in Vietnam.

In addition to his work in media, Tada has tried many roles, from being a scriptwriter for a feature film to working as a creative for multiple campaigns. He has also served as a communication strategist, advising on high-profile projects and campaigns. His expertise in digital communication, social media management, and media production has positioned him as a thought leader in Vietnam’s media landscape.

Currently, at VinUniversity, Tada integrates his industry experience into academia, teaching courses on digital communication, cross-cultural communication, social media

management, and introduction to communication. He also serves as a career advisor for communication students. His approach emphasizes practical learning, hands-on media production, and critical engagement with emerging trends, equipping students with the skills necessary to thrive in the media industry.

Alongside his academic role, Tada continues to be an active media professional, producing content, hosting shows, and contributing to the development of Vietnam’s creative and communication industries. His ongoing projects explore the intersection of media, technology, and cultural storytelling, reflecting his belief that media has the power to inform, inspire, and connect communities.
