April 27, 2021

VinUni undergraduates from College of Business and Management Business and Management recently participated in the Kick-off Event for the Industry Mentorship Program – whose mission is to empower students to expand perspectives and to grow and learn from leading experts from multiple industries.

How Industry Mentorship Program Works

  • Access to one-to-one mentoring opportunity in every semester
  • Fostering meaningful relationships with consummate mentors from leading corporations such as VinHMS, FPT Software, Indochina Research and One Arrow Consulting
  • Being accomplished CEOs, start-up founders and executives, functional heads of product development, human resource management and software engineering, mentors are practitioners who possess knowledge of career paths inside, and even outside, their organization. They will pass along the most candid perspectives as well as the technical knowledge and applicable skills to career aspirers.

Professor Sunmee Choi, Dean of College of Business and Management, reiterated that the college years are a pivotal time for students to gain career-oriented experience, but more importantly, to decide how big they should dream. The guidance from mentors could be one of the deciding factors that inspire mentees to maximize their potential and be the best they can be.

“This is a unique opportunity for us. I want to learn about mentors’ approach to problem solving and their journey of conquering their dreams, so that I can define my own pathway.” Pham Thu Hien, a freshman at the College, shared.
