Biography
Dr. Nguyen Van Phan is radiologist and interventionist. He has experience in diagnostic imaging and vascular intervention such as endovascular coiling and stenting of cerebral aneurysm, cerebral arteriovenous malformation; bronchial artery embolization, transarterial chemoembolization (TACE and Deb – TACE) of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), uterine fibroid embolization, prostatic artery embolization for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH); stem cell transplant for liver cirrhosis, congenital biliary atresia and diabetes type II … Non vascular intervention for example Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) for HCC, for benign thyroid nodules; percutaneous abscess drainage, percutaneous drainage and stenting of bile duct; fine needle aspiration (FNA) cytology and biopsy of breast nodules, thyroid nodules, lymph nodes, soft tissue; biopsy of liver nodules or mass, biopsy of lung nodules or mass, biopsy of bone lesion… He working in Interventional radiology unit – Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine – Vinmec Times City International Hospital.
