Directly aligning with Vietnam’s national framework for science, technology, and innovation, on June 6, VinUni will host the Research Day & Bootcamp 2026. The event serves as the inaugural university-wide research showcase since the establishment of the university’s consolidated research centers. Jointly organized by the Research Management Office and the Student Research Club, in collaboration with the university’s Colleges and RISE Centers, the forum aims to demonstrate institutional research outcomes, foster cross-disciplinary synergy, and inspire student-led inquiry.

The event features the participation of leadership from Vingroup’s diverse business sectors, opening strategic avenues for collaborative opportunities between VinUni and members of the broader corporate ecosystem. The schedule is structured around three core pillars of insight and engagement:
- Macro-Perspectives & Trends: A keynote briefing by Dr. Cấn Văn Lực (Director of the BIDV Training and Research Institute and Member of the National Financial and Monetary Policy Advisory Council), exploring the latest shifts in science, technology, innovation, and Vietnam’s developmental journey.
- Interactive Exhibition & Networking: An exploration of VinUni’s 3Ps research clusters – People, Planet, and Prosperity – featuring laboratory booths, live social experiments, poster presentations, and networking opportunities designed to foster cross-disciplinary ideas.
- Hands-On Bootcamp & Project Funding: A deep-dive session featuring firsthand research case studies, interdisciplinary problem-solving workshops, and a dedicated funding track for student teams to present ongoing work to potential supporters.
The event offers an institutional space to identify new research opportunities, engage potential collaborators, and examine the intellectual developments driving the campus ecosystem.
