This is one of the first master’s programs in the region to be accredited by the prestigious Ivy League university in the United States, Cornell University.

The Master’s program in AI Product Management combines technological expertise with foundational management knowledge, equipping students with the skills and knowledge needed to develop and market breakthrough technology products, addressing business and societal challenges in the digital age.

Prof. Max J. Pfeffer from Cornell University – Executive Director of the Cornell-VinUniversity Project.

The program includes courses on design thinking, project management, strategic management, computer science, probability and statistics, and other related fields. These knowledge and skills are designed to equip students with the ability to lead and innovate in a rapidly evolving technological environment.

Especially with a focus on practical training, 24% of the program’s learning time will be dedicated to directly participating in AI product development for reputable businesses and leading technology companies in Vietnam within the Vingroup ecosystem.

For students from businesses, the knowledge gained from the program can be immediately applied to solve real-world issues at their workplaces, under the guidance of experienced faculty members. All of these industry experiences will be part of the “industry integration” component, designed in three phases throughout the three semesters of the program, helping students transition effectively from theory to practice.

Dr. Le Duy Dung, Program Director at VinUni, mentioned that the special feature of the program is its seamless combination of theory and practice. “The most important thing is to focus on solving highly practical problems so that students can confidently enter the market and create breakthrough products with the potential to change the world,” Dr. Dung said.

VinUni has signed partnerships with leading technology companies.

According to Prof. Max J. Pfeffer, Academic Director of the Cornell-VinUni Project, the esteemed faculty team from Cornell University, who served as subject-matter evaluators, highly praised VinUni’s AI Product Management Master’s program. “The program is designed comprehensively and rigorously to meet future trends,” Prof. Pfeffer confirmed.

By participating in the program, in addition to receiving a master’s degree from VinUni, students have the opportunity to be admitted and complete a second master’s program at one of VinUni’s partner universities in a shorter time, as the credits earned at VinUni are recognized.

The “AI Product Management Master’s” program is the first to be launched in a series of specializations within VinUni’s IT Management Master’s Degree, which includes: AI Product Management, Data Science, Business Optimization, and Cybersecurity. In the near future, the program will not only target the domestic market but also aims to expand to other markets such as the Philippines, India, and Mexico…
