“Two Things I am Most Grateful for When Studying Medical Doctor at VinUni”
Nguyen Thi My Hao is an outstanding student at the College of Health Sciences. Reflecting on the past two years at VinUni, she shared that she was blown away by the young and dynamic environment. When asked about her student experiences, she shared: “I am grateful to be given a chance to study at VinUniversity, a place where the academic standard is upheld and everybody is well-respected.”
Hao was amazed by the love, care, and support from the faculty, professors, teaching assistants, academic advisors, etc. When Hao initiated a research project about the HPV vaccine, she received whole-hearted support from Prof. Pranee Liamputtong and Dr. Nguyen Khoi Quan. When she learned Vietnamese History, she was inspired by the energy and profound knowledge of Prof. Jason Picard. The teaching faculty has positively impacted Hao’s passion for studying.
Besides studying, Hao also felt grateful for countless learning opportunities at VinUni, for example, Career Day. “This event broadened my horizons about many wonderful future careers in Medical Doctor”, Hao recalled.
In the past years at VinUni, Hao was on the President’s List and she also founded VinUni Research Club. Even though she felt lost sometimes, she learned to overcome obstacles step-by-step to achieve resounding successes like today.
