VinUni and ADECCO Viet Nam agreed to cooperate on career development and postgraduate research support for VinUni students

On January 18, 2024, VinUniversity signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ADECCO Vietnam Joint Stock Company – the Vietnam branch of ADECCO Group, the world’s leading human resources solutions provider – to cooperate on several areas including: the development of human resources, education, training and research. VinUni is honored to be the first university to sign an MOU with ADECCO Vietnam, in which the two parties will cooperate on three levels: strategic, managerial and operational.

With this MOU, the two parties commit to collaborate on these terms: (1) VinUni students receive consultation from ADECCO experts in career guidance programs such as Career Fair, Career Orientation, Workshop, etc. to develop both academically and professionally in the future; (2) VinUni students will be sent on field trips to ADECCO Vietnam; (3) ADECCO guest speakers will go to VinUni for sharing sessions and VinUni lecturers will also attend ADECCO events when invited.

Notably, VinUni students will also have access to generous financial support packages from ADECCO such as funding for PhD students to work on research of ADECCO’s interests and scholarships for VinUni students to pursue Master and PhD programs on ADECCO’s interested majors.

I can see that you will be a very helpful partner to help us bring new opportunities to our students, and we are very grateful to build this partnership with you.”

Representing ADECCO Vietnam, Ms. Le Nguyen Ngoc Thanh – Country Director in Vietnam responded: “It’s our pleasure to collaborate with VinUni. The way I look at this is an opportunity for us to fulfil our relationship with you and see what we can bring to the youth. It’s part of our culture to grow people from the within and we do believe that Vietnamese youth is very smart and talented and can learn from older generations like us.”

During this academic year, VinUni has also cooperated with many leading companies in different fields, including: FPT Long Chau, National Children’s Hospital, etc. This signing ceremony is a stepping stone for VinUni’s efforts to collaborate with leading businesses to help students gain practical experience and prepare for the future. To date, VinUni has signed 37 university-level MOUs with leading businesses and organizations in Vietnam and the region.
