Biography

Dr. Thuy Bui serves as a Project Director at the Agile Innovation Center, while concurrently holding a faculty appointment in the College of Arts and Sciences. She earned her Doctorate degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. Drawing upon an extensive professional background developed through various roles within higher education in both the United States and Vietnam, Dr. Thuy Bui brings substantial research and teaching expertise to her current position at VinUniversity.

Dr. Thuy Bui conducts research at the intersection of syntax, semantics, psycholinguistics, and computational linguistics. Employing diverse experimental methodologies, statistical modeling approaches, and computational tools, she explores the mechanisms underlying human encoding and retrieval of linguistic information, thereby contributing to the advancement of natural language processing systems for artificial intelligence.
