“That was the Best Decision I Have Ever Made in My Life”

September 9, 2022

Hoang Ngoc Anh, a Nursing student at the College of Health Sciences at VinUni, used to have a difficult time finding an effective study method and keeping a work-life balance. Then, she was lucky to receive invaluable advice from her well-respected professor:

“Pressure is essential for every student because only when there is pressure can students strive for excellence. GPA; however, is not a comprehensive measure of their capabilities and efforts. Therefore, don’t let it control your emotions and make you feel depressed and anxious. A superb study environment is a place that allows you to apply theory into real practice.”

Thanks to teachers and friends’ support, Ngoc Anh quickly adapted to university life, turning pressure into motivation to improve herself. “The past 2 years of studying at VinUni have been a wonderful time for me.” – Anh said. She thinks that it is the resilience and enthusiasm that make VinUnians so special – the resilience to overcome the pressure and the enthusiasm to learn every day, “both of which have made a creative and innovative VinUniversity.”

For Anh, pursuing a Bachelor of Nursing at VinUni was a bold decision, but now that she is about to become a third-year student, Anh confidently shared: “I believe it was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. It was VinUni teaching faculty who inspired me to pursue this profession.”

Since her first year of university, Anh has been involved in many research projects to improve her knowledge and skill set. Recently, her independent research project on “Sleep quality of Vietnamese postpartum women and its associated factors” was funded by VinUni. Thanks to generous support from VinUni, the project has now entered the final stages of completion with success.
