VinUniversity and Orion Food Vina Sign MOU to Advance Industry – Academia Collaboration in Manufacturing & Business Innovation

On December 16, 2025, VinUniversity welcomed the leadership team of Orion Food Vina to campus for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking an important milestone in strengthening collaboration in education, research, and talent development within the food manufacturing and FMCG sector.

The Orion Food Vina delegation included senior representatives from Management, Manufacturing Operations, Business Development, and Human Resources. Representing VinUniversity were Prof. Sunmee Choi – Vice Provost of External Engagements, along with leaders and faculty members from relevant academic units and the Career, Alumni, Industry and Development (CAID) department.

Through this strategic partnership, VinUniversity and Orion Food Vina will collaborate to provide students with practical exposure to food manufacturing, supply chain operations, quality management, and business innovation, with key initiatives including:

  • Internships, industrial placements, and company visits at Orion Food Vina’s manufacturing facilities in Vietnam
  • Guest lectures, workshops, and mentorship by Orion Food Vina leaders and industry experts in manufacturing, operations, marketing, and management
  • Joint applied research and capstone projects in food technology, process optimization, sustainability, and business innovation
  • Training and professional development programs for VinUniversity students and faculty, leveraging Orion Food Vina’s industry expertise

During the signing ceremony, both parties reaffirmed their shared commitment to nurturing future workforce with strong industry relevance. VinUniversity highlighted the importance of close industry collaboration in enhancing experiential learning and career readiness, while Orion Food Vina emphasized its dedication to developing young talents with practical skills and long-term career pathways.
