VinUniversity and Carnegie Mellon University Launch Integrated Bachelor’s-Master’s Program

On August 18, 2025, VinUniversity (VinUni) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy (Heinz College) at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) – ranked 24th globally (Times Higher Education – THE 2025). The MOU officially marks the launch of Integrated Bachelor’s–Master’s (3+2) programs between the two institutions. To date, VinUni is one of just two global partners, and the only in Vietnam, to establish integrated programs with Heinz College at CMU.

Through the program, after three years of study at VinUni, students may continue to pursue a master’s degree at Heinz College at CMU within one to two years. These accelerated programs enable them to obtain both a bachelor’s degree from VinUni and a master’s degree from CMU in less time than traditional routes.

Each year, 10 VinUni students will have the opportunity to enroll in Heinz College at CMU’s world-renowned master’s programs, including:

• Information Systems Management
• Information Systems Management – Business Intelligence & Data Analytics
• Information Security Policy & Management
• Public Policy & Management
• Public Policy & Management – Data Analytics
• Health Care Analytics & IT
• Entertainment Industry Management
• Arts Management
