With a shared vision to promote scientific research, education, and the practical application of technology, on May 13th, VinUniversity officially signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Development Studies (HIDS). The partnership will focus on several core areas, including:
- Joint scientific research projects
- Consulting and applying technological solutions
- Organizing scientific events and forums
- Resource exchange and collaboration in professional training
One of the most prominent initiatives under this collaboration is the Green Transition Project at Ho Chi Minh City – Can Gio – Con Dao, aiming at sustainable development and environmental protection. The project is expected to be a major focus in 2025 and is anticipated to create long-lasting positive impacts for both the community and the environment.
Right after the signing ceremony, the two institutions co-hosted a scientific seminar titled “Pillars of Green Transition for Ho Chi Minh City”, discussing sustainable growth strategies for the extended metropolitan area, including Binh Duong and Ba Ria – Vung Tau.
This partnership with HIDS marks a significant step forward in affirming VinUni’s proactive role in driving the green transition process, improving quality of life and contributing to a more sustainable future for Vietnam.
