VinUniversity recently hosted a high-level delegation from PwC’s Global Network for a strategic exchange on leadership, innovation, and the future of technology-driven transformation. The meeting served as a platform to share insights and foster collaboration between academia and industry.

The session began with remarks from VinUniversity and Vingroup leadership, offering an overview of Vingroup’s development journey and its strategic vision for the next five years. The discussion highlighted the Group’s evolving business strategy in response to global shifts, particularly the rapid advancement of technology. Vingroup’s investment priorities – such as electric vehicles, big data, research and development, and infrastructure – were presented as key drivers of its transformation.
VinUniversity leaders also reflected on the qualities of leadership in the digital era, emphasizing the importance of agility, innovation, and long-term vision in navigating complex global challenges. The conversation provided PwC partners with a deeper understanding of how Vingroup has achieved success through strategic foresight, bold investments, and a commitment to sustainable growth.

The PwC delegation included senior partners and executives from 13 countries, representing diverse expertise across audit, tax, deals, digital consulting, and human capital. Among the participants were Ms. Dinh Thi Quynh Van, Chairwoman of PwC Vietnam; Ms. Nghiem Hoang Lan, Partner in Tax Services at PwC Vietnam; Mr. Hoang Viet Cuong, Partner in EPB & Deals Advisory at PwC Vietnam; Mr. Andrew Bamford, Partner in Transaction Services at PwC Australia; Mr. Giancarlo Chiapinotto, Tax Leader at PwC Brazil; Ms. Suzanne Ellis, Partner in M&A Operations at PwC UK; Mr. Adam Stafford, Partner in Cloud & Digital Consulting at PwC US; and Mr. Saj Samuel, Managing Director of Global Human Capital at PwC along with other esteemed colleagues.

VinUniversity was represented by Dr. Mai Lan Le, President of the University Council; Professor Sunmee Choi, Vice Provost of Academic Affairs; and Ms. Van Anh Nguyen, Head of Careers, Alumni, Industry & Development. From Vingroup’s Investment Department, Ms. Anh Ta, Chief Investment Officer; Mr. Tuan Tran, Head of Investor Relations; and Ms. Anh Tran, Investment Executive also joined the discussion.

Although the meeting was exploratory in nature, it provided a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives on innovation, leadership, and global collaboration.
