On the occasion of the visit by Vice Chancellor and President of the University of Queensland (UQ) to VinUni, VinUni and UQ are pleased to invite you to attend a public talk featuring the leaders of both institutions, as well as Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) and the Australian Embassy in Hanoi.
The presenters – all female leaders in international higher education – will discuss a range of topics including the importance of gender parity/representation in leadership roles and the barriers women continue to face in professional environments, as well as the practical and structural changes that could help remove these barriers for the next generation.
Following the talk, the audience will be invited to ask questions from the speakers and network over morning tea. This in-person event is open to all faculty, staff, students, and researchers, as well as representatives from government and private partners.
