Industry Conference: “Service Excellence- Elevating business with outstanding services”

In the World Bank report of March 2023, there was an important warning: Vietnam’s labour productivity in the service sector is much lower compared to other countries, including those in the Southeast Asia region. This explains why, despite the relatively high share of the service sector in Vietnam, efficiency remains low. We still have to accept a below-average quality of service when accessing both public and private services.

The quality of service that has not reached the standard is not limited to sectors such as banking, finance, hotels, restaurants, airlines, healthcare, education, and culture, but it relates to almost all economic and social fields, from agriculture to industrial production of goods, public services, and social management.

Service Excellence is an integral part of excellent customer experience, which involves providing customers with a service quality that exceeds their expectations.

In the book “Uplifting Service” by Ron Kaufman, a master of customer service, he said: If you only provide customers with the service quality they expect, that is just normal. Giving them surprises or services they don’t expect is what makes great service.

On the morning of June 20, 2023, VinUniversity College of Business and Management (CBM) and the Sales & Marketing Directors Club (CSMO Vietnam) will organize an international conference on the theme of “Service Excellence – Elevating Businesses with Outstanding Services”, with the participation of world-renowned scholars and leaders from reputable companies:
