Congratulations to VinUni Provost on being named a Decision Sciences Institute (DSI) Fellow

VinUniversity is proud to announce that Provost Rohit Verma has been named a Decision Sciences Institute (DSI) Fellow. The title of Fellow is granted to an active DSI member who is recognized as an eminent scholar in the field of decision sciences and who has been a leader and contributor to the vision, mission, and activities of DSI.

Provost Verma has contributed over 80 journal publications in the field, including five articles in journals published by the Decision Sciences Institute, and he has published dozens of other publications such as reports, book chapters, and textbooks. He has been Vice President and Member of the DSI Board, editor for DSI publications, and coordinator of numerous DSI events for faculty and students. And Provost Verma has been a leader in educating current and future generations of scholars in decision sciences, for example, as chair and committee member of 13 PhD students and as leader of numerous executive education courses.

DSI is an international professional organization of university scholars and practitioners that promotes the application of research in addressing the decision making process of individuals, organizations, and society. Focusing on educational issues, including curriculum, pedagogy, and careers, sets DSI apart from similar organizations. DSI hosts an annual meeting open to anyone in the field of decision sciences, and at each annual meeting DSI announces new fellows of the Institute.
