Amazon, AlphaSights, Bosch, Starbucks… and Many Global Corporations Gathered at VinUni Career Day 2025

More than 50 leading domestic and international companies and organizations – including some of the world’s top corporations – gathered at VinUni Career Day 2025 last weekend, underscoring VinUni’s global reputation and stature.

Impressing Top Employers with Intelligence, Grit, and Practical Skills 

Career Day is one of VinUni’s signature annual events. With this year’s inspiring theme, “Excellence to Lead,” the event welcomed global corporations such as Amazon, AlphaSights, Bosch, Starbucks, EY, ABB, Corning, Shopee, InterContinental, Woori Bank… along with more than 1,500 students. Not only did the event provide a direct networking platform between VinUni students and international employers, it also served as a strategic advantage that reinforces VinUni’s global positioning.

The event reaffirmed VinUni’s educational philosophy: combining academic rigor with practical experience to nurture a generation of “changemakers” with global mindsets and the courage to lead meaningful change for Vietnam and the world.

One of the key highlights of VinUni Career Day 2025 was the series of on-site interviews conducted right on campus. This initiative clearly embodies VinUni’s “hands-on” training philosophy, giving its students – young people full of Aspiration, Intelligence, and Courage – the opportunity to showcase their abilities and win over top global employers.

Renowned companies from both Vietnam and abroad – including Amazon Singapore, AlphaSights Hong Kong, BIDV, Bosch, EY, FPT Digital, FPT Telecom, FPT IS, Starbucks, Shopee, 1C Vietnam, Techcombank, Vietnam Airlines, VinMotion, VinRobotics, VinClub, and Woori Bank…  held recruitment rounds on site, with many making preliminary or even final hiring decisions during the event.

VinUni’s Talented Students Win Over Leading Employers 

As part of the event, the roundtable discussion “Future of Higher Education in relation to nurturing talents” attracted representatives from 30 businesses, along with faculty members, alumni, and current VinUni students.

Speakers discussed the essential skills needed in today’s ever-evolving job market and proposed potential collaborations between universities and businesses through practical training programs and projects, with the goal to jointly develop a high-quality workforce with global mindsets and adaptability.

Mentorship Kick-off Program 2025 – A Launchpad for Students to Access Global Enterprises

Also during Career Day, VinUni officially kicked off the Mentorship 2025 program. The program connects students with over 50 professionals and mentors from top-tier organizations. This is part of VinUni’s comprehensive career support ecosystem – where students develop soft skills, plan their careers, and gain global leadership mindsets starting from their first year at university.

As Vietnam’s youngest university to earn international accreditation immediately after its first graduating class and ranked QS 5-star for Employability – VinUni not only delivers world-class academic programs but also opens career pathways for students while they’re still in school, as proven through numbers and student outcomes.

The Mentorship Program Connects Students with Over 50 Experts and Mentors

Currently, 100% of VinUni students have internship opportunities at prestigious organizations in Vietnam and abroad before graduation. Of these, 32% secured employment offers by their third year, and 97% of graduates landed jobs with outstanding income levels.

VinUni students are now holding dream positions immediately after graduation: Assistants to Presidents/CEOs at major corporations, CEOs of tech startups, international professionals at financial hubs like Hong Kong and Singapore. Notable examples include Le Minh – Associate, Client Services at AlphaSights (Hong Kong); Cao Gia Bao – Research Engineer at NTU (Singapore); Giap Vu Nam Duong – Vietnam Country Manager, StoryCo; Le Minh Thi – Assistant to the CEO at Masan Group; Nguyen Tuong Minh – currently interning and accepted into a Product Quality Management Engineer position at Google Singapore…

In particular, during the 2024–2025 academic year, third-year student Doan Quoc Duy became the winner of The Moneyverse. Duy surpassed 25,000 competitors across the country to claim an impressive prize package: 1 billion VND, a CPA Australia scholarship, job offers from BIDV and SSI, and a VinFast VF 3 car.
