ADMISSION INFORMATION: AI PRACTICAL TALENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM – FOUNDATION LEVEL

(A special training program of Vingroup, jointly implemented by VinUniversity)

The AI Practical Training Program is a special initiative of Vingroup, jointly implemented by VinUniversity, aiming to develop AI talent who can deliver real results through a lean, fast-paced training model, along with employment opportunities offering highly competitive, performance-based compensation.

The program consists of two levels: (1) Foundation Level for AI operations staff; and (2) Advanced Level for AI experts, engineers, and project leaders in specialized domains.

6 OUTSTANDING DIFFERENTIATORS OF THE PROGRAM

1. The program is designed based on the SFIA competency framework (Skills Framework for the Information Age), which has been adopted by over 12,000 enterprise users across 170 countries.

2. Participants undertake 3 weeks of intensive foundational training covering AI mindset, AI ethics, AI skills, problem-solving with AI assistants, etc., under the guidance of VinUniversity’s full-time and affiliated faculty.

3. Participants engage in 9 weeks of hands-on practice with real AI projects, mentored by AI project managers from Vingroup and partner enterprises.

4. Participants are fully exempted from tuition fees and receive a monthly allowance of VND 8 million throughout the program.

5. Upon graduation, participants have opportunities to be recruited into Vingroup companies with highly competitive salaries based on practical capability: Outstanding performance: VND 30–50 million/month; Strong performance: VND 20–30 million/month; Good performance: VND 15–20 million/month

6. Participants are awarded a prestigious joint training certificate co-issued by VinUniversity and Vingroup.

III. DETAILED ADMISSION INFORMATION
1. Eligibility and Admission Requirements: Applicants to the AI Practical Talent Development Program – Cohort 1 must meet the following criteria:
1.1. Eligible applicants
– Final-year students or graduates of universities/colleges/intermediate institutions in related or relevant fields, including but not limited to: Computer Science, Computer Networks & Data Communications, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Technology Engineering, Information Technology, Information Security, Data Analytics, and other equivalent engineering and technology disciplines.
– Applicants without formal degrees in the above fields must demonstrate a solid foundation in mathematics, logical thinking, and relevant practical experience in business analysis, data, programming, or software development.
1.2. Competencies and personal qualities
– Clear career orientation toward applied AI, AI in production environments, and solving real-world AI problems.
– Strong logical thinking, fast learning ability, and a problem-solving mindset.
– High motivation, discipline, and strong commitment.

2. Admission process: Selection is based on application screening combined with an entrance competency assessment. Detailed information about the assessment will be provided to candidates who pass the application screening stage.
• Round 1 – Online application screening: Submission of an online application including CV, academic and technical background information, and a portfolio (if available).
• Round 2 – Entrance competency assessment: Candidates take an assessment covering logical thinking, basic programming and data knowledge, and real-world scenario handling.
• Class placement & project assignment: Participants are placed into levels (Good – Strong – Outstanding) and assigned projects corresponding to the level of complexity and technical requirements.

3. Enrollment quota: Maximum of 500 participants (Cohort 1).

4. Admission timeline
Candidates register according to announcements published on the VinUniversity website.

– Entrance assessment: 02/03/2026 (tentative)
– Admission results announcement: 10/03 – 15/03/2026 (tentative)

Training will commence immediately after the final list of admitted and enrolled participants is confirmed.
