The VinUni International Student Association (VISA) is an essential part of the VinUniversity community, dedicated to supporting and enhancing the experiences of international students both on campus and throughout Vietnam. EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES

a. Hanoi Tour

The Hanoi Tour is an annual event co-organized by the VinUni International Student Association (VISA) and the Student Affairs Management Office (SAM) with the goal of offering international students an immersive experience of Hanoi’s culture and cuisine—the city where they will live and study in the coming years. On October 26, 2024, our international students from cohort 5 participated in the Hanoi Tour: A Glimpse of Autumn, a day brimming with discovery, bonding, and the beauty of Hanoi’s historical charm, as the city dressed itself in the colors of fall.

• Morning Bus Ride: We started the day with a scenic journey through Hanoi’s most iconic landmarks, lakes, and vibrant streets, where students admired the city’s unique architecture and autumnal ambiance. The clear blue skies, gentle breezes, and golden trees showcased Hanoi in its finest season.
• Exploring the Old Quarter and Photo Contest: After lunch, we explored Hanoi’s Old Quarter and held a lively photo contest. Students visited five popular sites, capturing special moments and creating memories along the way.

This tour helped deepen our students’ connection with Hanoi, introducing them to the city that will become their home for the next few years. We’re looking forward to organizing more outings to strengthen the bonds within our international student community and help them feel fully supported and at home at VinUniversity.

b. Mini Year-End Party

On 27/12/2023, we gathered at the Art Room – I202 for an extraordinary celebration of diversity and unity at our International Students’ End-of-the-Year Mini Party. What a memorable evening it turned out to be!

From 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, our vibrant community came together, not just as students from different corners of the world, but as friends and family. The air was filled with laughter, music, and a lot of chit-chat.

The event unfolded with a cozy tea break, offering a chance for everyone to mingle and share stories. The energy then shifted to excitement with our thrilling announcements and engaging trivia. It was a joy to see so many participating with enthusiasm!

Creativity was in full swing during the art design session. The mini-games brought out friendly competition and loads of fun. Each activity was a reflection of our shared goal – to foster understanding, friendship, and inclusivity.
