The first 145 graduates of VinUni hail from across Vietnam, representing 14 majors in high-demand fields, including Finance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Business Analytics, Hospitality Management, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Analysis, Signal Processing and Communications, Automation and Control, Mechatronics, and Nursing. Notably, medical students, who are enrolled in a 6-year program, will graduate in 2026.

VinUni’s inaugural graduates have demonstrated exceptional academic achievements. Among them, 25% have received invitations to pursue master’s or doctoral programs at prestigious Ivy League institutions such as Harvard University, Cornell University, and the University of Pennsylvania, as well as other world-renowned universities like the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), Duke University, the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), the University of Queensland (UQ), and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL). According to VinUni representatives, these universities highly commend VinUni students for their passion for science, creative thinking, broad vision, and sharp critical thinking skills.
Additionally, 32% of graduates have already secured job offers from global corporations such as McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group, National Australia Bank, Woori Bank, Google, Bosch, Akzo Nobel, IBM, and Alphasights, as well as top Vietnamese technology companies and financial institutions. Some have been offered attractive compensation packages, including salaries of up to $7,500 per month for positions abroad, comparable to those of graduates from top international universities. Employers have praised VinUni graduates for their confidence, dynamism, technological proficiency, logical thinking, extensive experience, and ambitious aspirations.

At the graduation ceremony, Deputy Minister of Education and Training, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Minh Son, remarked: “With its modern learning environment, internationally standardized curriculum, and a team of talented faculty trained at leading universities, VinUni has been cultivating generations of exceptional students who can compete on a global scale.”
Congratulating the graduates, Professor Max Pfeffer, Academic Director of the Cornell-VinUni Project, shared: “Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania have collaborated with Vingroup to build VinUni as a university dedicated to training future leaders for Vietnam and the world. What VinUni and its students have accomplished in the past four years is remarkable.” He added, “At VinUni, students have learned the importance of leadership, empathy, creativity, and an entrepreneurial spirit.”
One of the graduates, Tran Tuan Minh (College of Business Management), who became the youngest Vietnamese ever featured in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia 2024, and co-founder of UpYouth, a nonprofit supporting student startups with 30 successful ventures collectively raising $3.5 million in three years, expressed: “I am deeply grateful to my professors and VinUni for creating an environment that allowed us to grow and proudly stand alongside the youth of the world. The culture of ‘nothing is impossible’ at VinUni has inspired us to dream boldly and persevere to achieve our goals.”
During the ceremony, VinUni also launched its Alumni Network, with participation from all graduates. This network aims to foster professional development, strengthen social responsibility, and promote collaboration and contributions among alumni.
