Vietnam ESG Awards 2025 – VinUniversity Honored at the Vietnam ESG Forum 2025 for the “Khanh Hoa People Speak English” Project

It is a great honor and source of pride for VinUniversity to once again be recognized at awards celebrating sustainable development initiatives and positive social impact, continuing our journey of serving the community. On December 22, 2025, VinUniversity was presented with the Vietnam ESG Awards 2025 in the Pioneering Science and Technology category at the Vietnam ESG Awards 2025 ceremony, organized by Dan Tri Newspaper.

The award recognizes VinUniversity’s role in designing, coordinating, and implementing the “Khanh Hoa People Speak English” project, an education-for-community initiative sponsored by Vingroup, aimed at promoting practical English communication skills for people from all walks of life in Khanh Hoa Province.

Launched in 2022, the project has gone through three phases of implementation. By applying digital transformation and AI technologies in curriculum development, organizing online courses, and hosting online and offline English-speaking contests and community activities, the project has achieved remarkable outcomes, reflected in the following impressive figures:

• Nearly 1,000,000 residents raised awareness of the importance of English through integrated communication campaigns and events across all localities in the province
• More than 420,000 direct beneficiaries, improving their English communication skills and applying them in daily life and work
• Over 500,000 online learning enrollments
• Nearly 700 free English clubs established
• Almost 1,000 volunteers and program ambassadors across the province

Beyond promoting foreign language learning, the project aims to build a humane, scalable community education model that contributes to greater equity in access to education, enhances citizens’ global integration capacity, and aligns with the Government’s orientation to make English a second language in schools.

This recognition at the Vietnam ESG Forum 2025 marks a meaningful milestone, providing further motivation for VinUniversity to continue fulfilling its mission of serving society through knowledge and spreading education models that create long-term, sustainable impact for the community.
