The second phase of the “Khanh Hoa residents speaking English” achieving remarkable milestones

Driven by a strong belief in the transformative power of language, Vingroup is honored to present the community program “Khanh Hoa residents speaking English”. This initiative, established under a sponsorship cooperation agreement between Vingroup and the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa Province, is designed to pave the way for international integration. As part of its role in building and developing capacities, as well as facilitating the implementation of the program, VinUni has dedicated considerable effort to training specialized volunteers for English clubs and providing direct training to the residents of Khanh Hoa. These efforts have not only improved the community’s English language skills but also established a firm foundation for Khanh Hoa’s development in an increasingly globalized context.

The program has successfully completed its second phase (from September 2023 to June 2024) within the 5-year roadmap, achieving significant milestones:

• Establishment of 207 English-speaking clubs, successfully implemented in 6 out of 8 districts, towns, and cities within the province, including Nha Trang, Cam Lam, Cam Ranh, Dien Khanh, Ninh Hoa, and Van Ninh.
• Engagement of approximately 9.000 members who regularly participate in weekly activities.
• Mobilization of nearly 700 volunteers, including 200 core specialized volunteers, surpassing the initial target by 27%.
• Participation of over 103.000 individuals in English-speaking events and activities who have benefited from the program.
• An impressive satisfaction rate of 9/10 after nearly two years of implementation.

With these early successes, the community program “Khanh Hoa residents speaking English” is gradually building a new image of Khanh Hoa in the eyes of international friends, laying the foundation for Khanh Hoa to become a smart and sustainable city on par with the leading cities in Asia.
