To reaffirm a strong partnership between academia and industry, and to expand connections in education, finance, and social development – on July 18, VinUni signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Woori Bank Vietnam.

Representing VinUniversity at the ceremony were Dr. Le Mai Lan – Vice Chairwoman of Vingroup and President of VinUniversity Council, Professor Sunmee Choi – Vice Provost of Academic Affairs, and Head of Department and Colleges representatives. The Woori Bank Vietnam delegation included Mr. Kim ByungJin – General Director, Mr. Park Beom Jun – Head of Management Support Unit along with other senior representatives.

This MOU opens up a wide range of meaningful opportunities for VinUni students, including:
- Scholarships and short-term internship opportunities at Woori Bank
- Financial workshops and mentorship programs to develop leadership and personal finance skills
- Talent development initiatives aimed at grooming future senior executives

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Kim ByungJin expressed hope to see more VinUni students join the Woori team and affirmed the bank’s commitment to expanding joint initiatives based on ESG (Environmental – Social – Governance) principles to deliver long-term value to the community.
This event highlights VinUni’s continued efforts to bridge academic training with real-world practices in the finance and banking sector – nurturing a generation of global leaders equipped with both expertise and social responsibility.
